It is such a privilege to hold these powerful, vulnerable spaces for women to unearth + regather who they are.
To support them in gradually embodying more safety + freedom to live in a way that feels true for them.
But what could that actually look like for you in REAL LIFE?
*She has asked to stay anonymous, so today let’s call her Kara.
So as you read Kara’s words, my invitation is to notice how her experience lands in your body.
Does it touch a nerve ? Does it resonate? Is there some tension or relief? Does it speak to a desire for change that you hold to?
Whatever arises, treat it as a whisper of wisdom from the soma and a breadcrumb to follow.
What did your life look like before we started working together?
I was full of unexplained anger, which I was trying to process on my own, in my head (instead of through the body). I could see my relationship with my daughter and my husband really suffering because of my random outbursts of angry energy. I didn't like myself, and all I saw was a slide downwards... I wanted help because I knew I needed to repair the relationship with my husband and my daughter, but I needed to work on myself first.
What hesitations did you have about working together?
The concern was about me. If I can handle it, if I deserve it, if I can make it work.
What results did you achieve during our time together?
Huge!! The anger is gone. I've changed so much thanks to this process. I uncovered a lot of things that helped me change the way I see myself, the world. My relationship with my daughter is better than ever. The conversations we're able to have now, blow me away! I can communicate with her better. I'm more confident in me. I see myself differently. I feel more worthy.
What is there less of in your life now?
Less anger, less over-analysing and being in my head all the time, less going into victimhood.
What is there more of in your life now?
More calm, confidence, fire in my belly, being open to what's next without fear
What are you most proud of in your shifts and how has this impacted those around you or your work?
How I feel about myself now. How grounded and more confident I am
What's the most important thing people should know about working with me?
That you have an incredible gift of seeing people, hearing people and holding space for them. You guided me to places in my subconscious I never knew I would get to, and that was exactly what I needed. Your intuitive wisdom and support was beyond valuable.
For someone on the fence about starting this Somatic Healing work, what would you say to them?
If you really want to change your life, do it.
Who would you recommend this work too?
To women who've been through a big change in life or face a big change ahead.
