As a trauma-informed Somatic Healing Therapist, I know that exploring my clients’ relationship to rest and their experience of rest, is a vital & enlightening first step in moving from burnt out, stressed and stuck to resourced, confident and resilient.

Because our relatonship to rest can be a complicated one.

Our lives and this world we live in is busy, noisy and complex.

Our past experiences, trauma, society, chronic stress, our upbringing… they ALL shape how safe we feel to honour this vital need.

And it is a vital need. You are not a machine.

You aren’t wired to keep up the pace one moment and then be able to simply “switch off” and “slow down” the next.

Your capacity and needs ebb and flow throughout your day, months and chapters of life.

So how you are treating your need for rest right now, will be a direct reflection of how you view your needs, AND how you view yourself for having them!

So, in this free workshop, you will be guided through taking these first vital steps for yourself.

All you will need is…

  • Some space to move

  • Yoga / exercise mat

  • Sturdy chair if getting to the floor isn’t available to you

  • Some cushions

  • A blanket

  • Your journal and pen
